"Kinesys has the best and most flexible equipment range in its market."

Phantom Event Engineering, a leading rental company in Turkey, has purchased its first Kinesys automation system integrated with CM Lodestar.
The sale consists of 16 x 30m/min CM Varistar Chain Hoists modified to work with Kinesys Elevation 1+ and 8 motorised beam trolleys. The system is enhanced with the addition of Libra load monitoring functionality.
Phantom Event Engineering began in 1997 as a full service supplier for the events and entertainment market, including truss, rigging, lighting, sound and video technologies.
Phantom’s Technical Manager - Sedat Gündüz - explains how Kinesys systems have helped to take their leading company up to the next level in the Turkish market.
“Automation systems are not common in Turkey, so we can add value to the projects that we are doing with that system (…) For us Kinesys has the best and most flexible equipment range in its market. Also the brands that we use, like Green Hippo media servers, have good collaboration with Kinesys and it is a new way of designing new and creative ideas for big events.”
Sedat explains since high level automation systems are rarely used in Turkey, the company hopes to achieve ground breaking effects using the Kinesys system with some exciting projects in the pipe line.
“We plan to use the Kinesys system especially with our LED Screens, to create scenic movements and different designs in seconds.”
The Elevation 1+ provides a flexible “open” solution for variable speed chain hoist systems. It is designed to work with several different chain hoists and to be located locally to the hoist that it controls. It provides millimeter accuracy, simple operation from software, handset or local controls and a load cell input for complete motion control.
